Dr. Theresa Best is a Tennessee board certified therapeutic optometrist practicing in Knoxville. Dr. Best received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and attended the University of Houston College of Optometry. She completed her internships at the Naval Medical Center and Miramar Marine Air Station in San Diego, CA and at the Eye Center of Texas in Houston, TX, where she specialized in contact lenses fitting and ocular pathology. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the East Tennessee Optometric Association. Dr. Best lives in West Knoxville with her husband, two boys, and their beagle.

The staff at Vision Best Eyecare is here to serve all of your primary eye care needs. We not only provide comprehensive eye examinations, glasses and contact lenses, but also diagnose and treat eye diseases. Dr. Best is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and is authorized to prescribe topical and oral medications for the treatment of eye disease. We provide both pre and post-surgical care for patients referred for cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and refractive surgery. We are equipped with an on-site dispensary and laboratory so that, in most cases, you can receive your glasses in one or two days.
